We are thrilled to announce that Södra Älvsborgs Sjukhus (SÄS) in Borås has officially joined the Double-D Trial family!
As of today, the SÄS EMS team have begun enrolling patients, marking another exciting milestone for the study and for prehospital cardiac arrest research.
With their experience in advanced resuscitation and a dedicated EMS organisation, the Borås team, led by local PI Emil Bergerum, brings both enthusiasm and expertise to the trial. Their participation  brings us one step closer to understanding the potential impact of Double Sequential Defibrillation (DSD) on patient outcomes after refractory ventricular fibrillation.
